Beef and Tomato soup

This is a simple to make soup with simple ingredients. For each bowlful you need to put half pint of water in a sauce pan with a beef stock cube, a table spoon of soy sauce, a tablespoon of butter and a tablespoon of tomato puree. Bring it to the boil, then simmer for about 5 minutes and leave in the saucepan to cool before serving or storing. I usually make up a four pints at one time and keep it in the fridge. I keep it in a big milk container (washed out). I have a ramekin of soup when I fancy a snack. It is easy to take a bottle to work (where we have a microwave) and nuke up a cup full at break time instead of coffee. It tastes absolutely gorgeous and is made with simple ingredients that are easy to find in the shops. If you like it spicy, then add a sprinkle of either chilli powder or cayenne pepper and stir it in.
