3rd day of Marines diet

Yesterday we both lost weight again, I lost 4 pounds and Mary lost 3. Yesterday we had fruit salad for lunch, today we have fish, tomatoes, spinach and salad. That's a bit more like normal food. Not my choice, but all edible. 10:15 am we both started with a poached egg and a black coffee with sugar. 12:15 we had out tuna fish with salad, cooked spinach and tomatoes and it was quite nice. Went to last league match of the season for my daughters team and took a big bottle of lemon cordial. Had a couple of coffees in the afternoon while finishing of laying the laminate floor in Syd's room, then dinner was lamb chops with salad and tomatoes, mmm. Finished putting Syd's wardrobes back together, then did the Wii weigh in. I had lost 2 pounds and Mary had lost 1. It is starting to level off a bit now, but still both losing weight. Well pleased, I have lost over a stone now since I started at the end of March. I have lost an amazing 10 pounds so far on this Marines diet, wow, and Mary has now lost 8 pounds too.

  1. no!!!!! dont have sugar on ur coffee and no other drinks are allowed only water, you must only have a black coffee or black tea at each no, none in between, sweetner is ok but no sugar, it will slow the weight loss down and causes toxins in the body which will take you out of the form ketosis that ur body is in xx

  2. Thanks Lisa, I am also a hater of sweetener and it is not proven either way about the effects of ketosis. However I do appreciate the ratios will reduce the ketosis effect and hence result in less fat burning. It is still working very well for me and I really cannot do without sugar in coffee or just drink plain water. At the moment these are my only deviations and I shall try to minimize them. I have tried the alternatives and they make me fill nauseous. I had a bout of throat infections some years ago and this caused massive swelling of the soft palate and has never since returned to its preious size therefore I have a smaller opening and a more sensitive gag reflex. So I have to be careful about making my self feel nauseous. So I shall keep taking the sugar for now.
